it's a funny situation if i think about it.

i'm sitting on the floor on the third floor of the accountancy block (because i'm too tired to stand) trying to finish my quantitative methods coursework. i'm supposed to help poor old mr ted wasser decide what to do with the 140,000 square metres of land he bought. personally, i think he should build a mansion with water-slides all over the place, all for me (which is one of my crazy dreams...just a dream!!)

however, dreaming aside, say hello to reality. i'm sitting on the floor of accountancy because i couldn't find a single study room just now after they kicked us out of the library because it was closing!! and i thought i was the only one without a life and that everyone would be partying at the rock concert going on downstairs for patron's day or at home watching tv or something. people walk past and can't fathom what i'm doing on the floor. i can't either considering there are now empty study rooms since an hour has passed. a guy saw me and walked over to tell me i could use his room because he was done. and i thanked him politely but my butt stayed glued to the ground. then a few minutes later, i heard someone call my name. it was kelly, but for a few moments, my mind just couldn't register who it was! then she came over with her friend and they offered to help me move to one of the many empty GSRs (group study rooms), but i declined graciously and am still here on the floor. bands have gone on and off the stage blasting U2, guns n roses, skid row and what have you and i have been here listening to every single hit belted out, and also to the noisy emcees shouting their hearts out!!

what a strange, strange situation i am in. rock concert with crazy (drunk, tipsy people high on free beer (i didn't miss out on mine!)) downstairs, shireen with laptop and notes all over the floor upstairs.

ok, back to the reality of reality....
