ok so this is my first blog ever. and i guess most people say that when they blog for the first time. not that i'm an avid blog-reader. i just assumed.

i took my doggie (RENO RALLY ROYAL, his name) for a walk just now. and he wouldn't let me go near the wayang. so i took him home and cycled back and watched, amused at the funny faces(the don'ts of make-up), the costumes(one which glowed in UV light,new for me in wayang culture), the music(a bit towards noise?) and the dialogue and songs(i didn't understand a word). what tickled me most was this actor guy who came on. he looked like some retired old ah pek and spoke like one in whatever dialect it was. and he did this lil ditty...sang a song in his slightly straining voice..and check this out...kept shaking his hips and smiling at the crowd. wow i've never seen that in wayang before. it was always just melodrama for me. but what would i know? ;)
maybe he was just a jester. we all need a bit of laughter to stay alive, don't we?

i'd sleep early, believe me. who wants these dark rings and eye bags? but i love the nights. it's like the world only belongs to me. all are asleep and i'm awake, watching and moving about. it's like everything lives for me, the lights on the street, the occasional cars zooming by, the silence, the stars...it's beautiful.

i love sleep, believe me. but the night's so precious. it'll be gone soon. i know, there's always tomorrow night. or is there?

i try not to get too long-winded, believe me. but i get carried away. so let me put an end to this nonsense.
